1) To assign a task to your client, click "New" and then "Task".
2) Under "Assigned to" click the contact and then click save.
Note: If you get an error, you must first invite your client to the portal by editing the contact, and making sure the "Client Portal" option is marked "Yes" and there's an email address in our native email address field.
What happens now?
The client will log into their client portal and then see the task that was assigned to them. After they complete the task they will have the option to "Mark as Completed" or they can click "Send Message" to message you if they have a question about the task.
