PantherAccounting Plus Updates

Over the last few weeks, we’ve introduced several enhancements to PantherAccounting Plus designed to streamline accounting workflows, improve visibility, and make reconciliation easier.

Linked Withdrawals Now Visible on Deposit Slips

Deposit slips that include transfers between bank accounts now automatically link to the related withdrawal slips.

The deposit slip detail page now includes a Withdrawals tab, grouped by bank account, so you can easily review linked withdrawals in one place. These withdrawal groupings are also visible during the Review Bank Transactions matching process and within Bank Reconciliations, making it easier to reconcile PracticePanther payments to your bank statement with greater accuracy and efficiency.

Default Chart of Account for Payees

Contacts configured as payees now include a Chart of Accounts setting, allowing you to assign a default account to each payee.

When creating a firm payment, selecting a payee will automatically pre-fill the Chart of Accounts field with that payee’s default account. This helps reduce manual entry, improve consistency, and speed up firm payment creation.

Refresh the Accounting Snapshot on Demand

The Accounting Snapshot now includes a refresh button, giving users the ability to reload the dashboard with the latest accounting data whenever needed.

This makes it easier to see how recent activity, such as newly recorded payments, impacts your financial numbers without waiting for the next snapshot update.

Other Updates

Recent releases also include updates to Invoices to provide additional flexibility and automation.

Customizable Retainer Replenishment Text on Invoice Templates

Invoice templates now include an Evergreen Text field, allowing you to replace the default Retainer Replenishment label with language that better fits your practice.

When a retainer replenishment amount is included on an invoice, the customized text will appear in the invoice subtotal section. This gives more flexibility to tailor invoice language while maintaining a clear and professional invoice presentation.
