Sometimes, you will have clients that open multiple matters/cases with you. At times, clients want their invoices to contain all their matters billable time on one invoice.

To create an invoice containing multiple matter's billable time, follow these simple steps:

1) Select the contact that you want to invoice. 

2) Select the green “New” button and click "Invoice".

Note: When invoicing from the contact's page, you will be given the option to pick which matters you'd like to include on this invoice.

3) Select which matters you'd like to include on this invoice and select which date range you wish to pull time entries and expenses from.

Note: These options will only display when multiple matters for this contact have incurred a billable amount.

What Happens Now?

When creating/editing your invoice, you will have a separate section to edit the billable items for each matter. 

When you save it, the invoice will break down the billable items for all of the matters separately. The totals for them will be noted below each matter and the overall total for all matters will appear at the bottom of the invoice. 

Additionally, during batch billing, you have an option to group all matters that belong to the same contact on to one invoice:
