Please watch this video or follow the steps below:
1) When creating a new matter (or contact), enter the number at which PracticePanther should start numbering your matters. Note: PracticePanther will always auto increment this number one higher than the current highest number.
2) To make sure this is enabled, go to company settings.
3) Enable auto numbering for matters (and/or contacts).
What happens now?
PracticePanther will automatically assign numbers to all your new matters (and new contacts), continuing from the current highest number you assigned in the "Matter Number" field.
Note: PracticePanther auto-numbers are firm wide and can not be reset per client.
