Invoices in PracticePanther are automatically numbered sequentially. You can change the number that your invoices are automatically being assigned by creating an invoice with a higher number and starting from there.

Please watch this video or follow the steps below:

1) Click on "Invoices" at the top of the page or click here. 

2) Click on "New" at the top and choose "Single Invoice". 

3) You have the option to enter the invoice number into the “Number” field at the top. If you do not, it will automatically increase +1 based on the highest invoice number. If you input for example, Invoice #1873, it will automatically start at #1874 next time.

Note: If you enter a number below the highest invoice number, the next invoice you generate will still pick up after the highest invoice number.
